I love taking pictures for Flashes of Hope. These images, captured in hospital rooms, help kids suffering from life threatening diseases change the way they see themselves. The process and resulting photos bring smiles to the families and the kids. Often I get to say hello to Hospital Outreach specialists of the Hole in the Wall, as they always seem to be working nearby – thanks to the good folks of AngelRide.
It’s such a privilege to help these kids. To be a part of charities centered around children, like the AngelRide, the Hole in the Wall, and Flashes of Hope is humbling and honoring. Being able to watch how it all integrates because of pure human compassion, because we hold each other up through kindness – what greater gift exists? Please enjoy the portraits of these wonderful kids.
If you need some portraiture work done, I would be more than happy to oblige. And remember, all my proceeds go back to these charities. So any photography I do for you just helps these kids all the more.
